Hey there everybody!

It's been quite a while since the release of version 0.2. I thank you all so much for playing it. Also thank you for all of your comments, feedback, and support! I'm glad my game could reach so many of you!

Now a lot of you have probably been wondering where the heck is 0.3? And understandably so. It's been nearly 100 days since 0.2 came out. I've given updates over on Twitter and the WeightGaming forums, but I have yet to give any formal updates here. So here we go!

Essentially, ever since version 0.2 came out, I've been remaking the game from the ground up. Chub Chomp Chill is only the second thing I've ever made in Unity, and I've learned a lot since I've started it. I wanted to go back and refactor all my shoddy spaghetti code now, so it won't be a nightmare to update the game more later down the line. That does mean a longer wait than the gap between 0.1 and 0.2, but hopefully it'll be worth it for you all! The game should be more optimized. All the models, animations, and expansions are being remade as well in better quality. And without giving too much away, the gain system is being retooled as well.

I don't want to talk too much about certain aspects that aren't completed yet. I don't want to build up hype too early. But to give a broad general statement: one of the main things I want to pull off with 0.3 is giving the player more to do. One can only click a bottle of Chick-Fil-A sauce so many times before getting bored. With 0.3, I aim to expand the gameplay loop in a few ways. I'm also aware of all the feedback you all leave in the comments. While I might not reply to all of them, I definitely read and take note of each one. All of your feedback is very valuable and I aim to address a handful of that feedback in 0.3 as well. Personalities should also be making a return.

As for when 0.3 is coming out, I still can't give a date, sorry! This is still a side project for me. I can't work on it full time. But I thank you all for being patient and I really hope it'll be worth the wait for you all! That's all for now. Thank you for reading!
