So it seems that I may have stumbled across a new bug that causes the launcher to label the game as uninstalled, yet when I press play, it launches the game anyway. Luckily, though, it seems that the bugs I've complained about before are absent, though I did find one that causes the character to act full despite the fullness being 0.
Also, how do I get the gurgles to happen?
Nevermind, figured it out. Bloated unexpectedly as I was feeding it soda.
I may be the only one to suggest this but maybe in the future, you could add hiccups to the game? also with the option to turn them off in the settings just like burps and stomach noises
Oh, by the way, i found one bug, glitch, whatever its called, welp, basically it messes up the model of a character on a chat with them, like, when theyre really fat, the boobs just s t r e t c h, hope gets fixed soon :)
lil bug report. i noticed that you can click to play with characters that are in empty apartments. i left, and found out that all of the food in my inventory was deleted. just a bug that i found that i feel is kinda important
This game is great. I've been playing it since the 0.3 update went live.
It'd be neat if the following fixes and additions were added to the game in the future:
1. The Ability to Interact With Your Characters Like Back in 0.2.
2. Food Items Like Butter and Nachos.
3. Sliders for Belly and Arms.
4. More Personalities.
5. The Camera No Longer Clipping Through Larger Characters.
6. Decorations Like The Wall Clock and Ceiling Fan Shown in One of the Screenshots, Including Interactable Ones Like Beds and Couches and the Mirror and Box from 0.2.
7. An Arcade Where More Weight and Happiness Points Can Be Gained at the Cost of Some Happiness Points.
8. Clothes No Longer Clipping Though a Character's Body.
9. More Eyes, Mouths, Hair, Tops, and Bottoms.
10. Changing the "Try to reach 1,000,000 Blorbs" Message to "Try to reach 1,000,000 Wobbs".
11. Characters' Mouths Moving When They Speak.
12. Characters' Arms No Longer Stretching Very Far When at Massive Sizes (namely, in the Warehouse).
13. The Fullness Meter Immediately Going to 0 When It Empties Instead of Showing a Negative Number Before Snapping Back to 0.
14. Conversation Animations Adjusted for Larger Sizes.
15. Any Item That Has a Number in the 1,000 Range or Higher Properly Displaying Over the Item's Icon.
16. Level Up Bonuses Properly Updating Without Having to Leave the Apartment.
17. Characters' Arms and Hands No Longer Clipping Through Their Bodies as They Begin Gaining Weight.
18. Up to Two Characters in One Apartment (with the ability to switch between them a la The Sims).
19. Hiccups That Can Be Toggled in the Game Options.
20. More Dialog From Characters (namely, when they reach 10,000 wobbs or more where they'll talk about being immobile and wanting the player to feed them, along with other weight gain-related dialog).
21. Ill Characters Having a Green Blush.
22. Characters No Longer Standing When Rejecting Food While Moving.
23. Gretta Actually Having Dialog.
24. Larger Characters No Longer Clipping Through Walls or the Floor.
25. The Belt Buckle No Longer Going Back to Cyan After Finishing Customizing a Character.
Hope these ideas and fixes aren't too much for you, SolitaryScribbles. Keep up the good work on this game!
Hey i am still having a problem with the bug that basically stops buttons from working. I tried to reinstall it and launch it with and without launcher .... but still dont work :(.
Bugs are fixed, though I can't seem to get the soda belly bloat to happen anymore. Otherwise really cool.
Suggestions, if they're wanted: (Definitely want #7, #5 and #2 the most though.) 1. Minigames or something, even if it's simple Tamagotchi stuff like moving left or right to catch falling coins or whatever. 2. Make food in the stomach affect the character's belly size, so a skinny character with a huge stomach capacity could gorge themselves to have a huge gut, digest it all and go back to being skinny. 3. A metabolism system so they'd lose weight if they're eating loads of low cal food, or if you're not feeding them at all. Bonus: the ability to affect your character's metabolism. 4. Maybe a "pay to refresh the grocery store" button? 5. More vertex weight on the belly to prevent it from turning into a mess of crushed vertices whenever a big bellied character bends forward. 6. Stuff to buy in the little room they wander around in. 7. A "MAX" button in the weight loss center for each value, plus maybe an "all to zero" button. 8. Maybe all the fat you remove at the weight loss center can get traded in for a special currency used to buy special stuff?
I personally havent had an issue with Soda bloating its been working very well for me to the point where it apparently can stack now leading to a humungous belly
Yeah, I later found out that it just takes a ton of soda, I just figured that she'd get some kind of belly out of drinking 4-8L of soda, but I think the threshold for it to trigger is something like drinking 10L at once, and it's a sudden, instantaneous BUMP in size.
I can stack the effect a bunch now that her stomach capacity is absolutely ridiculous, but eh.
Loving this so far! Not sure if this is an item or not, but just a thought. Popcorn food item? I think it would either be salty or sweet. Just a random dingus idea, anyways. Keep up the great work!
I think it would be great if you would add some "body interaction with the citizen. Because this game have super good jiggle physics. I waited for 0.3 and it paid off. Thank you for this great game.
I am not sure if this was intentional or not but the game's time passing by at about the same rate as IRL time, is v annoying as i cannot easily access the foods i want for my preferred body type, also when you possess greater then 1000 of a particular food item, the 4th digit is placed lower behind other food
Hello, I am experiencing some interruptive issues with clicking "Finish" when creating my character. Is this a common bug or has this been a problem with others?
Hello Scribbles. My game is corrupted. It has a hard time functioning whenever I click a button. It also fails to save stuff I purchase at the grocery. And then my character turns into another character I haven't even made before. Even deleting SaveFile.es3 doesn't fix it. Is there an alternative to fixing this?
Probably got this report multiple times already, but here's another.
Character keeps getting set to default randomly, sometimes looks like a freaking creepypasta with everything colored black, and sometimes clicking on things don't work. Don't want to sound demanding, but please fix this.
Also, really like the game, though do kinda wish you could hear the burps and gurgles more often.
hi you must be exhausted from fixing bugs all week! but im still having the glitch from 0.3.1 where i cant get out of options or start a game after creating a character. hopefully you find out why this is happening good luck!
Very fun so far. But I noticed two bugs with the food. If you enter an apartment with out having an character your inventory is deleted. And you can still use food even after you've eaten it all as long as you don't click off of it. But the rest of the game is still really fun.
I'm having a pretty bad issue when my character glitches/resets to a default character model they end up occupying an apartment but it says unoccupied. Then I can't occupy that spot with an actual working citizen. Also, the characters seem the reset only when going to buy food, which also whips all the food I had, and I'm not sure why this only happens sometimes. How would I get rid of these glitched-out spaces so I can use them again?
Don't think it's something terrible but saying it anyway:
Sometimes when i return from the shop to buy food after having fed the resident, the number of how full they are goes into the negative, though it goes back to normal after the time it would take for that number to go down if it was in the positive full.
How do i fix this? I was messing around in the weight loss area and i input a very large number. instead of declining like i though it would, it drained the happiness points completely. i cannot Buy any food so this is kinda game ruining and I've deleted and reinstalled which also doesn't work. please help
Oh dang. I'm really sorry about that. I'll have to look into that. There's no fix for that at the moment, I'm sorry. If you're willing to restart your save, you can delete the SaveFile.es3 file.
It's located in C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\SolitaryScribbles\ChubChompChill\SaveFile.es3
i feel like when you feed them something that satisfices their craving they should have a unique animation for eating it, so you know when you're feeding them something that satisfices them. also i could be wrong but i think the ice cream cone doesn't give you any EXP.
It depends, sometimes it takes over 3 hours then only a few minutes. I suspect it's from changing screens but I'm not 100 because it seems to happen at random due to the varying times it happens.
When I made a second character all the food I had bought for the first was gone for some reason. Which is annoying since i had a lot of expensive stuff
I'm not sure what happened but I'm having a very odd bug at the moment. The game worked fine for about like 2 days, but I came back to it one day and it just decided to delete the characters I had in my apartment at the time. So I tried to close out to the character creator and restart but for some reason the finish button no longer works, and it locks me into the Creator with no way to leave. I can even get stuck in the settings menu because the button to close that will just decide to stop working as well. I tried to deleting and redownloading the game a few times but nothing seems to fix it. I have no idea what happened but I hope eventually it can work again because this game is adorable and I would love to keep playing it
Same thing happened with me, it was working fine but when I decided to make a new character it just locked me there and wouldn't let me finish, same issue with the settings menu.
I'd love to see an infinite stomach capacity mod or something like that... (I've been trying to find a way to cheat around that, to no avail! Just infinite happiness points so far xd)
Really liking the game so far. Hopefully more features are on the horizon. There are a couple of bugs I've encountered that while aren't game breaking, are probably worth noting.
The character will hover with no animation briefly after a conversation prompt, and their arms will clip through their model rather than stay raised once they hit a certain size. Eating brings the arms back to the raised position.
Infinite food glitch if you don't select another item or leave the food menu after depleting your stocks.
Skin and clothes get glitchy and clip the larger a character gets. Happens on the face too once they get large enough.
Some of the geometry seems messed up on one of my characters when I attempt to use the weight loss clinic. Only happens with this one, and I'm not sure if it will fix itself after she gains weight again if I accept the changes.
Weight loss clinic buttons can be unresponsive when exiting.
Bloating via random events subsides instantly compared to bloating via soda.
Besides bugs and glitches, I would recommend maybe replacing the realistic food icons with drawn ones that fit the style of the game, and maybe some of the fonts/UI elements. Also, physics would be a fantastic feature if they could be implemented, with characters bumping into walls and other objects, or even being able to interact, grope, poke and rub characters like in previous versions.
I've had some good, chill times with this game, but I do want to share some bugs I've encountered along the way.
The icons in the Serve menu became suddenly, seemingly-irreversibly huge, overlapping each other and, once the stock became big enough, obscuring each other entirely. (Since I wrote this, the issue has reverted and the scroll wheel does seem to work on the Serve menu but I'm still entirely unsure how that revert came about)
The menuing in the Weight Loss Clinic seems a little broken, as there were multiple times where I would be stuck clicking through the same options and prompts multiple times when I finalized my changes.
Speaking of those changes, I found that I could not decrease the amount I wanted to lose in particular areas when I either minimized it once or reached the maximum allotted poundage.
It may not be a bug perhaps, but it's not made clear how bloating affects your character's model's proportions or any other attributes, nor how it can be reversed, nor for how long it will last without interference.
theres a bug that i dont really understand how its caused yet but sometimes by chance (i think)
your character's apartment gets a absolute full reset alongside the inventory days the character will get replaced by some sort of default character with a weird orange sphere on their head with their stats also resetted
kind of like the same thing happening with the other people in the comments and this is kind of really problematic to me since the bug occured to a high level character
Suggestions: 1. If your character is full of food, their stomach will gurgle and groan when they walk, and if they're full of drinks, there'll be sloshing. 2. Clothing store and barber to remake the hair and clothes of your character after creation. 3. Minigames, maybe to replace the levelup money over time? Maybe some basic Tamagotchi stuff, super simple, no-effort to code stuff. 4. Maybe an "outgrow your clothes" mechanic to fight off the odd clipping with a lot of the crazier shapes? Basically some clothes are fine to handle big bellies, some aren't. If you're too big for a certain shirt, you'll have to swap to a crop-top, or go topless, or whatever else like that. 5. The ability to click the minus on the weight loss screen and have it loop back to whatever the max is. (Typing 99999 in works too, but eh.) 6. Maybe a "trade in fat for points" mechanic, where the more weight you get rid of, the more points you can earn for whatever. IDK, upgrades, furniture, clothing, food, discounts.
Thought I would regret the purchase, I don't this is pretty cool. A few bugs I've already noticed though is that the chest size of my characters are lost when I load into their apartment. One of my characters got bloated instantly which was cool but her chest jiggled on top of her belly, I thought it was a glitch until I realized it was her chest. Great chill game tho, def accomplishes what it sets out to do.
Overall really good! I haven't hit many issues at all and the ui rework is great.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned, when you use all of your stock of any food item and it displays 0 you can actually keep using it indefinitely until you select another food. It even persists when you switch menus as long as you don't change the food itself.
If you buy enough different types of food to make it go out of the menu, trying to scroll (holding lmb and dragging, then releasing) makes all the food disappear until you reload.. So basically you can't scroll through the food menu or you have to restart the game.

Absolutely amazing. The bottom menu, could this be no longer opaque? Would like some more freedom of movement for the camera too, just as suggestions
Interactions with the models would be insane.
Oh, by the way, i found one bug, glitch, whatever its called, welp, basically it messes up the model of a character on a chat with them, like, when theyre really fat, the boobs just s t r e t c h, hope gets fixed soon :)
Alright, i just made an account for this: But i have some suggestions.
1. Having like a daily chat with any character at the start of a new day
2. Interacting with them like back on 0.2 (Which i still have)
3. Cutscenes like: One new neighbour joining goes trought reception and gets their key
4. Having Multiple Neighbours in one room, and that they could interact.
5. Dialog with Gretta, Its kinda boring just going to the shop and look at her clerk souless eyes...
6. An option to skip the day, to just not wait a goddamn day just to buy food y'know?
7. Interaction Hands: Like, grab, rub, pat, etc...
8. Obviously more personalities, hairs, clothes, etc...
9. Make characters animated like, blinking, etc.
And Lastly...
10: 0.4
(Sorry for my bad english, im not really American, i live on a spanish country :>)

idea for 0.3.3:
1.an Infinite Food mode so you don't waste your time going to the glitchy food store.
2. two dice, one to creating your character And one to Naming your character.
3.Digeting food also give Exp.
4.Talking to your character and doing Events will also give Exp.

Hello, I am experiencing some interruptive issues with clicking "Finish" when creating my character. Is this a common bug or has this been a problem with others?
it seems to be becoming a common problem. I'm definitely looking into it.

And then my character turns into another character I haven't even made before. Even deleting SaveFile.es3 doesn't fix it. Is there an alternative to fixing this?
Does turning on "Limit 60 fps" in the game options help anything?
No.
Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not sure what could be causing that. I'll have to look into it.
Probably got this report multiple times already, but here's another.

Also, really like the game, though do kinda wish you could hear the burps and gurgles more often.
When the character gets set to default, does leaving and returning to the apartment fix it, or do they stay default forever?
It does nothing but turn the character entirely black.
I usually just delete that character and make a new one.
Was the character located in the top left apartment by any chance?
Yeah. Gonna guess that areas buggy?
hi you must be exhausted from fixing bugs all week! but im still having the glitch from 0.3.1 where i cant get out of options or start a game after creating a character. hopefully you find out why this is happening good luck!

It sounds like you're still playing 0.3.1
Those are fixed in 0.3.2, which came out this morning :>
I'm having a pretty bad issue when my character glitches/resets to a default character model they end up occupying an apartment but it says unoccupied. I've gotten a couple reports similar to this. I'm really sorry that this is happening. Currently looking into how to solve it.
Other than that loving the game, fantastic job my man.
Thank you!
Don't think it's something terrible but saying it anyway:
Sometimes when i return from the shop to buy food after having fed the resident, the number of how full they are goes into the negative, though it goes back to normal after the time it would take for that number to go down if it was in the positive full.
Nothing terrible but just informing.
I'm really sorry about the inconvenience. That's alright, also thanks it worked and the game is going good now :)
i feel like when you feed them something that satisfices their craving they should have a unique animation for eating it, so you know when you're feeding them something that satisfices them. also i could be wrong but i think the ice cream cone doesn't give you any EXP.
Is there any sort of cheat system
might I suggest vore as an option-I'm really loving the game, however, I can't play it for too long without the game deleting my character completely. Do you have a fix for this?
How long where you playing before your character got deleted? And what was the last thing you did before they got deleted?
It depends, sometimes it takes over 3 hours then only a few minutes. I suspect it's from changing screens but I'm not 100 because it seems to happen at random due to the varying times it happens.
When I made a second character all the food I had bought for the first was gone for some reason. Which is annoying since i had a lot of expensive stuff
I have also noticed that whenever I ate something with a chest boost the chest immediately goes away even when I made it max
Also in the Gloomy dialog, the character will say "habble" when it should be "hassle"
I would just like to know if the cravings have any effect yet and what foods constitue sour, spicy, meaty, greasy, sweet, chilled, and liquidy
I think the cravings give a boost to either exp or weight
I'm not sure what happened but I'm having a very odd bug at the moment. The game worked fine for about like 2 days, but I came back to it one day and it just decided to delete the characters I had in my apartment at the time.
(Typing 99999 in works too, but eh.)
