0.3.2 Is Here! Introducing: The Launcher!
Hi there, everyone! Just want to start off with saying thank you so much for all your support lately. This past week has been full of fun posts and helpful feedback. All of your support and input is very much appreciated! With that being said, let’s go over the changes with version 0.3.2!
First of all, your save will automatically transfer over from 0.3.1. You don’t have to restart your entire game!
THE NEW
Introducing the Chub Chomp Chill Launcher! For your convenience!
Now you’re probably thinking, “why would I need a launcher for one game?”
Well, you don’t need it. But it’ll make your life a bit easier. With this launcher, you can now download new updates without having to manually redownload the game from itch.io with every single update. I could come in really handy for surprise updates and content drops.
The raw game zip file will still be available on itch.io with each update if that’s your preference. But I do recommend trying out the launcher. It’ll make things easier for you!
Launcher Info
(If you download the launcher, you don’t have to download the 0.3.2 zip file.)
If you do choose to use the launcher, when you download it, windows might hit you with it’s classic security warning. There is nothing malicious in this program. Feel free to choose “Run Anyway”. After you extract the zip file, you have 2 options. You can either choose to run “setup.exe”. This will install the launcher to your computer and you can treat it as you would treat any game file. Or you can run the “ChubChompChillLauncher.exe” straight from the folder. Press play to download the game from the server and enjoy!
Other new content in 0.3.2 includes:
- 3 new foods (You’re welcome, Amy)
- 2 new room styles
- 1 new conversation
GAMEPLAY CHANGES
- Max time for bloating has been reduced from 24 minutes to 3 minutes.
- You can now control camera zoom with the left and right arrow keys or “A” and “D” (for laptop users)
- Events now execute how they’re supposed to (4 different outcomes instead of 2)
- The passive happiness point system is now a bit different (it was bugged in 0.3.1). Your happiness point rate is now dependent on how full your citizen is. The fuller your character, the more passive points your get.
- Adjusted level up balances
- Added a section to the profile tab that shows how many times each attribute has been leveled up.
- Added counters to the hunger and XP bars.
- Added icons to the location buttons to help with immediate recognition.
- Changed events to refer directly to citizens rather than “you”.
- Changed the unit of measurement from “klbs” to “wobbs”. “Klbs” was supposed to be a made up unit of measurement, but a fair amount of people were taking it literally to be “kilo-pounds”
- Adjusted skirts and dresses to move a bit smoother around the legs.
BUG FIXES
Bug Fixes for 0.3.2 include:
- Fixed infinite food glitch when a food item reaches zero quantity.
- Fixed infinite level up glitch.
- Character assets (chest, hips, butt) will no longer reset after eating a buffed food.
- Disabled the ability to enter empty apartments.
- Adjusted weight offsets to remedy weird “belly shelf”.
- The warehouse is no longer pitch black (though might need further adjusting).
- Better grocery store lighting.
- Fixed time travel glitch when player changes areas during the 12AM hour.
- Events no longer happen in pairs.
- Fixed eye texture clipping at larger sizes.
- Adjusted shader settings to help remedy shiny glare at larger sizes.
- Conversations should no longer repeat the same conversation as the last one they had.
- Citizens will only give the introduction conversation when they move in.
- Food and customization icons should no longer be weird sizes.
- You can now scroll through your food inventory.
- Fixed 2 particular odd-looking hairstyles.
- Bloating achieved during an event should no longer immediately deactivate.
- 3rd color option tab in character customization should no longer disappear.
- Game options should no longer auto set to zero when opening them.
- Fixed bug where you couldn’t buy food if you had the exact amount of points it cost.
- Characters will no longer “attempt” to move when immobile.
- Male figure will now save when chosen in the character creator.
- “T-posing” offset adjusted to happen a bit more naturally.
- Fixed bug where calorie buffs/nerfs don’t end when their status effects end.
- Various typo fixes.
- Arms no longer snap inside the body after a conversation is had.
- Dr. Bananahead’s glasses have been fixed.
- No more weird delay when exiting Dr. Bananahead’s clinic.
- Dialogue option text no longer overflows outside of the text box.
- Grocery now displays 3 25, 50, and 100 items.
- Grocery now no longer has repeated foods in stock.

What if you could add more toggleable/things to do and see?
For example: Stomach grumbles/gurgles, rubbing and patting stomachs, being able to poke your character, maybe even poking them too much could cause burps or farts, and other commenters gave great ideas as well!!
I'm really sorry for rambling on but this is a wonderful game, and i would do anything to see it get even better!
may i suggest that you add a feature to make your character grow faster, like a feeding tube? and I hope you add new food that actually does make you grow faster.
Not really a bug fist but rather a suggestion i really wish you would add, when you eat a food that satisfies their craving it should play a unique animation or have some kind of indicator that it satisifes their craving because its really hard to know which foods satisfy the craving.
Why can't we touch the characters in the new version ?
It was one of the best feature in 0.2, you should add it back.
Also it would be cool if it was possible to change the clothes after the start.

Hello!
I downloaded the launcher and it ran up fine, but when I make a character, the "finish" button appears to not work (it highlights and shows I'm clicking it). This means I really can't play the game, and the "x" button doesn't work in the main menu as well. Everything else appears to run quick, aside from those two buttons.
I think immobile characters are still walking, almost 10K and trying to move hah, just a bug I noticed
I think it would be great if you would add some "body interaction with the citizen. Because this game have super good jiggle physics. I waited for 0.3 and it paid off. Thank you for this great game.
